Cry1 and Tef gene polymorphisms are associated with major depressive disorder in the Chinese population

Aiming to assess the role of cry1 and tef in depression and as a replication to confirm other findings, a study of 105 Chinese people with major depressive disorder (as defined by the DSM-IV-TR) and 485 controls has found that SNPs in the cry1 gene (rs2287161) and thetef gene (rs738499) are associated with depression.
